Properties:

  1. can replace a noun (hic uxorem habet)
  2. can modify a noun (hic vir uxorem habet)
  3. agree with antecedent in number and gender
  4. case is determined by how the pronoun functions in its own sentence (Cicero uxorem habet; ea hunc amat)
